LEBANON - Memorial Day weekend is a weekend for racing all across the country and Lebanon is no different. Lebanon I-44 Speedway will be racing open Late Models on Saturday. Late Models will be running for points as well as the normal $1,000 to win.
DLRA Legends will also be racing at the track. Rain has prevented the series from making earlier appearances.
"We love the Legends cars," track promoter Randy Mooneyham said. "They always put on a show tthat's a little different than what we normally see."
The track is also getting ready for some upcoming specials. June 3, the speedway will host the Winged Outlaw Warrior Sprint car series.On June 17, the United States Modified Touring Series will return.
"We've got some major races this season that fans aren't going to want to miss," Mooneyham said.
