(Lebanon) Race fans get ready for a night of thrills, as the
A-Modified Season Championship will come down to the wire this Saturday at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, as the top three drivers in the class are within 7 points of each other.

Rookie David Hendrix has led the points most of the year, but has hit a rough stretch late in the season, allowing for Tony Jackson Jr. (3rd
place;7 points out of 1st) and 2006 Lebanon I-44 Speedway Modified Champion Justin Neuman (2nd place; 4 points out of 1st) to get back into the championship hunt. The pressure will be on these three drivers, while other favorites like Terry Beckham Jr. look to play spoiler this Saturday night. The Lebanon I-44 Speedway Rookie class has seen a heated battle between Josh Lewis and Rich Reynolds all season long. Lewis goes into the championship weekend 8 points ahead of Reynolds.

Dustin Mooneyham has not won a Late Model feature race this year at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, but his consistency leaves him firmly in first place in that highly competitive class. Kris Jackson has struggled as of late with his #65 Factory Stock, but his earlier dominance of the class has him safely in the points lead. Landin Johnson is in a similar situation, where he has had some trouble the past few weeks, but remains the Bomber points leader. B-Modified points leader Josh Woody had Jason Otto and Jim Hayes breathing down his neck in the standings, but a late season surge has given Woody a great shot at the season championship.

While the champions will be crowned this Saturday, the racing continues all September long at Lebanon's fastest track. Race fans will not want to miss the 5th Annual Larry Phillips Memorial, featuring the Late Models of the MARS and MLRA series, racing both Friday and Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. The Lebanon I-44 Speedway season ends in grand fashion with the MARS-MLRA Fall Shootout on September 21 and 22. There plenty of racing excitement still to come at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway. Racing every Saturday night, with the gates opening at 5pm, and races starting at 730pm. Kids 12 and under are always admitted free at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, located off of interstate exit 135, on Old Route 66.
