Lebanon,Mo.-Drivers and fans alike will be able to get a first hand view of the upcoming season at the Lebanon Midway Speedway on Friday Night April 15 as the track has scheduled a test and tune or play night under the lights.

With all the new changes on the Midway,we also need to test out things such as the lights and there direction, how the new dirt will react and our drivers will need to see what gear to run,and any other changes they will be making to there cars before the season opener on Friday Night April 29th.

The Pit gates will open at 6PM that evening and practice will begin around 7:30 and last until 9-9:30PM.Pit passes will be $10 and grandstand admission for the test and tune session will be free to the public.

In other news from the Midway, the season opener prices will be alittle different from what the website shows.Adults will be $8 for the opening night show while Active Military and senior citizens will still recieve there $2 discount allowing them in for the opener at $6.Kids 11-15 will be $5 and 10 and under absolutely free while racing will feature Winged Sprints, Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers and Mini-Stocks.

THe Special Sat Night edition of action on the Midway set for Aug.13th will feature yet another class of cars racing along with the Enduros, Legends, and FactoryStocks as the Fastrak LateModel Series will be making an apperance that evening also. This Crate Engine LateModels Series is new to the Mid-West and is based out of the St Louis Area. While they are extremely popular down South,it is the first year for this sanctioning body here in the MidWest. There schedule stays pretty close to home and they don't plan on going out of a 150 mile radius from there, but this puts the Midway right in that area.

"We are giving our fans alot of different type of events this season and this is something new also," Quoted Owner Harold Armstrong."These are full blown Outlaw LateModel Cars with sealed Crate Motors in them, and this is looking at the wave of the future because of the cost of racing nowadays. From phone conversations with them they expect a strong field of cars to go along with our racecard for that evenings activities.
