In the Superstock feature point leader and 2005 champion Tony Jackson Jr started up front alongside of veteran contender JC Newell. At the drop of the green,Jackson would see Newell right on his bumper for the opening 3 laps, but Jackson pulled away in the longer runs to capture the victory with Newell,Tim Petty,Donnie Gennings and Bradley McDowell completing the top 5 as a large field of SupersStocks competed this evening.
The Modifieds provided plenty of excitement as Point leader Jamie Ragland as Eric Hudson started up front with a star-studded field including some of Central Missouri's best deep in the field. On the start,Ragland and Hudson ran side by side, but a couple of restarts pulled the field together. On the restart,Ragland again jumped to the lead,as Hudson stayed upstairs and Jackson Jr was moving quickly on the low side.Deep in the field drivers such as Rowland Blythe,Matt Johnson,Bob Test,Curt Rackers and others were working there way to the front. On lap 3,Jackson Jr 3- wheeled his Allen Chassis to the bottom and moved around leader Ragland.Early favorite David Payne pulled out with a broken tie-rod ending his night early.Up front Jackson started to pull away while Ragland,Hudson and Brian Brown were battling for position as Rackers and Test were coming quickly along with Johnny Fennawald. With Jackson holding a 6 car length lead, the battle was for 3rd place as Hudson,Rackers, and Test were swapping spots while the pack of Fennawald,Johnson,Blythe and Jim Wheat were going at it.Test began his charge to the top 3 and on lap 17 overtook Hudson for the spot and began his charge on runner-up Ragland. On lap 21,Test broke a rearend ending his night as he was closing in on the lead duo_Out in front,Jackson again pulled away to grab his 4th Modified feature of the season followed by 2005 champion Ragland,Curt Rackers,Eric Hudson and Matt Johnson.Shannon Frank captured the B feature win as drivers such as David Payne,Johnny Fennawald,Steve Bach,Rowland Blythe and Richard Payne all transfered in an action packed B feature to set the 24 car field.
