LebanonMidway Modified Madness Drops Late Entry Fee Penalty

Lebanon,Mo.-Officials at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway have announced that the extra $50 late entry fee has been dropped if your team is not entered by Sept.1.
"With the rising gas and Diesel prices,I would rather see the drivers use that extra to get to the track,so the late entry increase fee for this 2 day show has been dropped to where it is just 100 to enter the 6000 to win 600 to start event."quoted owner Harold Armstrong."The calls have been really flodding our phones along with e-mails concerning this high paying show.Klushman Racing Products out of Lockwood,Mo will be awarding throttle linkages to the top finishers and Bilstien Shocks are working on a deal to award the drivers.
This 2 day event will feature qualifying heats on both Friday Sept 16th and on Sat Sept 17th.Friday night will see all the heat race winners lock into the feature,as they will redraw for starting spots in the pole dash to set the front of the field for the 50 lap feature on sat Night.Also on Friday night,there will be a qualifying race which will involve the second,third and possibly fourth place finishers in the heats as a total of 14 cars will lock in from Friday Night.Sat will feature a redraw of those cars not yet qualified and any new cars that might arrives.Heat winners will make the 50 lapper and a final qualifying race to help set the 26 car field.The highest finishing car in the Midway Final point standings that hasn't made the field who is entered to race.Jamie Ragland has secured at least the 25th starting spot after winning a special Sat Night shootout event earlier this season.
The race will be one of the largest Modified paying events ever in SouthWest Missouri with 6000 to win,3000 for second 1000 for 10th place and 17-26 recieving 600 to start.
Tire rules will be the American Racer G60(grooving allowed) or the Hoosier A40(No Grooving)-weight will be 240 lbs with driver after the race and aluminum heads are allowed,but must weigh 50 pounds more with 25 to the front of the bell-housing on each side.Pit passes will be $30 each night.Friday Night will feature the Bombers racing a full show and Sat Night the Winged Sprints will compete a full show.
