LebanonMidway Opens With Fast Factory 50 This Weekend

Lebanon,Mo.-The 2007 racing season at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway is slated to open this weekend with the running of the 2nd annual Fast Factory 50 in which the winner will pocket $5,000 to win the 50 lap feature.
Friday night action will find full events for the SuperStocks and Bombers with heats and features both with extra money on the line.Qualifying heats for the FactoryStocks will highlight the night along with the exciting pole dash between the heats race winners to set the front part of the field for Sat Night's Main Event.There will also be a qualifying feature for the FactoryStocks to finish locking in the 14 cars on Friday Night.
Not leaving the family out on Friday the track will hold an Egg Hunt during the intermission break on Friday Night.
Sat Night will feature the Race Bros. Show-Me Racin Series LateModels with top drivers Leslie Essary,defending series champion and Dirt Hall Of Famer Ken Essary,Jimmy Greenway,Jeremy Kelley,Jim Fulp,Tyler Milner,Chris Hawkins and many more with qualifying heats and a Feature Event along with the 1st ever appearance of the Missouri Legend Cars.These cars developed to help reduce the cost of racing resemble the 34,37 Coupes and run spec engines and tires.
The headliner on Sat will be a 50 lap FactoryStock feature paying $5,000 to win and $500 to start along with qualifying heats and a last chance race to set the 26 car field.Yodd Cook of Rolla,Mo captured this event last season holding off a late challange from Arkansas driver Richie Tosh in grabbing the win.
Admission and starting times for this weekend will be as follows Friday Night gates open at 5 with hotlaps starting at 7 and Racing at 8PM.Admission on Friday Night will be $10 for adults,kids 11-15 are $5 and 10 and under free.The kids 10 and under will be involved in the Egg Hunt.
Sat Nights events will have the gates opening at 5 with Hotlaps at 6:30 and Racing at 7:30.Sat Admission to this championship night will be $12 for adults,kids 11-15 are $5 and 10 and under Free.
