Lebanon,Mo.-The LebanonMidwaySpeedway is getting geared-up for another Sat Night Shootout Special on the July 8-9 Weekend.
The Speedway will host the SMRS Midgets for a 2 day show on Friday Night July 8th along with its regular point show.The Winged Sprint Cars will not be running that night as they prepare for the AMSOIL Challange on Sat July 9th with the feature winner recieving $1,000 to win the feature event.This is the largest purse ever paid for the Winged Sprints in this area, and we expect several cars from the Sedalia area as the rules are the same between Midway and LA Raceway.The Sprints this season have featured 5 different winners out of 6 races this season so far,and point leader Joe Todd will be facing stiff competition.Also racing on the Sat Night July 9th shootout special will be the SMRS Midgets,FactoryStocks,Bombers and a 100 lap Enduro paying 1500 to the winner with the traditional 3 wide start.
Friday Nights event will also feature a kids coin scramble for kids 10 and under presented by Mid-Mo Bank in Lebanon.
The kids will be picking there way up to different prizes on the coins.
