After a couple of restarts-Lewis grabs the opening lead,then Rich takes control-on lap 3,Rhoads locks to the bottom after starting 6th and grabs his 1st of the seaon-our 9th different winner in 10 races.-Good battle between Rich,Lewis and then Brown and Petty.

A super field tonight and tight racing-Hughes grabs the opening lead with Willis close behind-on lap 4 Bone applys pressure and grabs the lead on lap 8.Gets caught in Midway traffic,but the yellow reverts back a lap just as Hughes got the lead back.
Bone checks out as he gets ready for the Aug USMTS show at the Midway.Hard luck awards tonight to Merritt,Hudson and Willis all got together in turn 2 sending them to the back while in the top 5.Great runs tonight by Jason Pursley in Donnie Fellers car and McKinnon for his first time there.
