To give drivers from multiple series and tracks to be able to participate in this event, the tire rules for the MO State event have been opened up from the normal weekly racing series tire rules at Malden Speedway.
Those tire compounds include the following that will be legal for the Missouri State Championship Races. Any of these tires must durometer 50 at any time.
Crate Late Models (GM 602 or 604 Engine)
SPOILER: 8” spoiler maximum
TIRES: Goodyear 45 and 50 (Fastrak) plus Hoosier: Crate 55 or Crate USA 55, WRS-2-55, LM 40, 1600 Grooving, Siping, Grinding ALLOWED
Payout for the 40-Lap Missouri State Crate Late Model Championship Race: $2000 to win then; $1000, 600, 500, 400, 300, 250, 220, 210, 200 and $200 thru last place. Entry Fee $100
** Note: Tires may also be Siped, Ground or Grooved for the Missouri State Championship Race.
