Lets go blues!!!!!!

Blues were down 1 - 0 against San Jose too.. look how that turned out.
I will say it was a darn good game to watch on Saturday Night - since Momma Nature allowed me watch it..

I thought the blues played terrible Saturday other than the first period. They better get it turned around because the kings are much better than San Jose.

You're right, Dave. The Kings and the Blues are alot alike. Both play tremendous defense but lack in scoring. They have to be tougher than the Kings and definately tougher than they were in game one. Let's go Blues. We've waited long enough.

Well, that didn't go so well. O.K. Blues, it's gut check time. Put that one behind you and go to L.A. and come out strong. Never, ever give up.

Still bleeding blue

Time to put Reavo and Stew back in with Nicks on the 4th line. We need their size in the lineup and that line is a beast when they forecheck and cycle like they can. Langs and Arnie need to sit and watch, both are a waste of space the way they've played in the playoffs. Let Vlady play center (hes better there than on the wing) between Beaner and Dags on the third line. I would also like to see Bergland, Oshie (they love one another) and Steen back together as the second line. And Backes with A-mac and Perron on the first line. I know it sounds like a lot of changes, but hell, they need to do something, and that would be a very fast first line.

Cocoa is a train wreck in the roll they expected him to play tonight. Petey needs to get back in the lineup quick, because other than Shatts and Russell he is the only other D-man that can responsibly start the breakout and keep the puck going north. The D pairings were screwed up tonight and the puck was not coming out of the zone as quick as it needs to. I would rather see Huskins in the lineup if Pete is not coming back. We could use a forward on the point for the powerplay rather than watching Cocoa turning the puck over like he did 4 or 5 times tonight. (and thats another problem...."0 for" on the PP this series????? What the hell???)

We have to play in their end rather than ours and we have to score on the PP if were even gonna win 1 game in this series.

Every forward needs to take a cheapshot at Quick and try to ram him thru the backside of the net a few times and rattle him off his game. Pollack and Jackman need to step up and punish somebody too. Kings have way too much open space in front of Elliot. For Gods sake, knock some guys on their butts in front of the net. Don't let the Kings waltz thru that area like they own it.

Jackman is my favorite player, but man he stunk it up. Arnott was invisible. Maybe throw Halak in there if he's ready. Arguably the worst game of the year for the Blues. I'm not ready to concede the series yet but we need to win the next one........

Jackman is awful. Wasn't as visible until Shatty and Pietro became part of the equation. I had a good view of that abomination last night...10 rows off the ice. The lines they tried in the first period were a complete failure.

Petro is back in the lineup! Can't play any worse then they have. Never left a game early in my life but I just couldn't take it Monday night. Plus in my own way I was protesting the fact that they pushed the game back to 8. Not everybody lives within 15 minutes of Scottrade.

I am excited to see the game tonight. The Blues don't have much of a choice but to come out ballz to the wall. LETS GO BLUES

2nd. intermission, game three. Blues down 3-1. I've seen enough. Give me a stick, I'm goin' in! Kopitar, dead. King, dead. Doughty, dead. I just hope I can learn to skate in the next 10 minutes. Maybe I would do better if I just sit here and send as much positive vibes as I can. Skate boys, skate!
