Lincoln Speedway Gears Up For 2007 Season

With many changes in place, Lincoln Speedway owners are busy preparing for the 2007 season. New dirt, new walls and a slightly different track configuration are some of the physical changes at the speedway while an exciting schedule of events is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

The season kicks off on Saturday March 31 with an open practice for all classes from 12:00 to 4:00 P.M. Opening night is scheduled for Saturday April 7 with a $1200 to win Late Model show. Other classes competing will be Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks and 4 cylinder Wild Things.

On Saturday April 21, the O’Reilly POWRi Midgets and Mini Sprints roll into town for some exciting open wheel action. For Late Model fans, the World of Outlaws Late Models will appear at the Speedway on Sunday May 13 and the UMP Summernationals compete on Sunday June 24.

The Lincoln Speedway Kids Club has great things in store for all of the young race fans including shirts, coloring books, autograph sessions and birthday parties. For the adult fans, 2 fan appreciation nights (admission price is reduced to $5) are scheduled for June 19 and July 21.
