Local racer Don Phillips deploys this morning

The 892nd (Rolling Thunder) deployed from Belle Clair Fairgrounds this morning. Don Phillips was on board. The ceremony was emotionally draining for all. Glad Casey & I went down to say goodbye. Dons e-mail addrss is donald.phillips1@us.army.mil Keep him in your prayers for a safe return. In a footnote to this Bob Goodman will be leaving in Jan. I'll try to find out when.

Thoughts and prayers to all deployed. And for the men and women sacraficing their lives and limbs for the reason and their families. Good Luck and God Speed.. We at our household will continue to pray for all people involved.

I talked to Donnie this afternoon he made it to Camp Atterbury with no problems. Angy is also there. Before the season starts we will have some 00 available.He should be reading this post soon. Make it a quick one Donnie & get home soon.

Don and Bob are good soldiers, good racers, and good people. I wish them the best and hope for their safe and speedy return.
