Tops Action at Potomac Speedway and Winchester Speedway

Waynesboro, Virginia (04/01/19) – Logan Roberson put together two great nights of racing over the weekend. His efforts were rewarded with his first two triumphs of the season in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 BTS Towing Service/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Crate Late Model.

“I know it is just the end of March, but it seemed like it had been forever since we had won,” Roberson joked. “Seriously though, the car has been good just about every time we’ve hit the track this year, we just haven’t got a win for one reason or another. This weekend though, things went flawless, and we thankfully were able to get a couple of wins. The season is really about to kick into gear, and hopefully this is a sign of things to come.”

Friday found Logan Roberson in action at Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland), where he returned to competition in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 Crate Late Model entry for the regular night of racing. Earning the pole position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Roberson led wire-to-wire en route to his first victory of the season, which came over Eric Wilson, Darren Alvey, Chuck Bowie, and Austin Bussler.

The following night at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia), Logan started the night with a heat race victory, sending him into the redraw. Receiving the pole position for the feature, Roberson jumped out to a comfortable lead for the majority of the race. Late in the going things got trickier as he had to fending off the advances of Trevor Feathers as the leaders navigated through lap traffic.

Logan was able to maintain control of the top spot in the closing laps to pick up his second win of the weekend and his second win of the season. Feathers, Devin Brannon, Al Shawver Jr., and Jon Painter trailed him across the line in the 30-lap affair.

The one definite is Saturday night, which will find him pursuing a $1,000 winner’s check at Winchester Speedway.
