So these guys are in a battle for the points I for one am pulling for long he won tonight and is now 5 points closer he is smooth and clean Harrison on the other hand ...well the only car he didn't run over was long which he couldn't catch and the tow trucks but I'm sure if they were in his way he would have smoked them also...come on long
 
Not whining and I've raced plenty but it doesn't take a geniousto see all the cars yall ran over trying to do something and I don't hate winners long did a great job if you all ran that clean I would send you praise also
 
These two are the best flat out , hats off to both . As for harrison when they start booing ya, u know ur good .
 
I watched Harrrison he was racing hard real hard did a slide job that didnt work out right so it looked liked he was banging, came out of corner 2 hard and did get into the car in front of him bent a little sheet metal, did not take the guy out,, and he could of if he wanted,, it was hard racing he had Alot of track to make up to catch the front runner,, good racing to the top 3 next time watch what is really going on be fore the tears start flowing!

please tell me you are not serious with this comment! Harrison has went to alot of big shows this year very true but at them big shows have been the best of the best and harrison has beat them! Come man get serious and quit pretending like you know what you are talking about. IDIOTS
 
Seriously!!!!

Post #9 baffles me? I don't remember the 18L at too many of the Mod Summer series races,unlike Harrison who kicked azz! As to the dirty driving opinion,I've watched Harrison at 5 different tracks this summer,turn a pretty wheel and win W/O touching anybody..........:confused::confused: I agree with Faust Fan:D
 
If you want to win, at some point your going to have to be aggressive at times if you need to get around somebody you cant just follow or your just some other guy out there. nice guys finish last! 320+ feature wins, didnt get that many by following and not pushing it to the limit when it needs to be. For some reason everything about my dad in this area is blown up, he cant even rub a car without somebody bitc**** about being rough or scratching somebodys car. And congrats to michael long on his feature last night, and good luck for the rest of the season.

Well said, I agree ,,,,,,,,,,, u got to push to win, u half to squeeze though that hole that isnt there, want to win, or ? There wasnt any dirty driving going on at all,,,
 
all i have to add is whoever is #1 or 2 , although fri night didn't work well for them, sat was a beaut of a race with both coming from in the pack to finish 1 &2, long was beautiful going around the track but when harrison saw him take the lead there was no stopping him from trying to over take long. all i know was the stands should have have more fans, even though it was cold, those that missed those 2 nights missed track records being broken in the mods and some great late model racing with babb worth the price of just to watch him to do time trials much less race. & feger fri & unzinger sat giving him little trouble & congrads to my fav the 6k athough slipping at the end keeping up with babb for most of the race. & even though it cut into my beauty sleep both night tri city proved once again how to run a major event & on fri night the north got to see the best in the south in the crates w/ jeff herzog. still would love to see that king of the hill with herzog & griffin going at it & to summitt who sponsored the events great & thanks for the hats
 
Have to start by saying congrats to Mike Long, we were pulling for ya! An awesome job as usual...Hope to see ya at Knoxville. As far as Harrison, simply put...bad ***! You hear people say all the time he's only fast because he has this or that. Well ya know what, ya still got to be able to drive it!!! He drove his balls off last night and put on a great show... Both great drivers and a blast to watch race. I bet Bart Hartman was saying, what just happened???..Tom 1w
 
I think you guys cussing Harrisons needs to ask dirtboy whats happens to yeah. Harrison has been the class of the mod field for awhile now and Long is giving it his all to steal the crown from him. Two of the best this year and years to come.. But let me say this 3 time ump champion!!!!
 
good point,2 damn good drivers,were lucky to be able to watch them both,harrisons equipment is good,other people has just as good of stuff,u cant take away hes a shoe,long is very good to,i would love to see long win,
 
Well i gotta agree. 2 of the best driver battling it out for those ever so precious points. But..let me ask you this. Have you ever been in a race car and someone got under you......roughed you up........hit your lr and almost take you out? I have. I wonder how this thread would go if someone race Harrison like that. Not knocking him.or anyone. Just saying.....ive witnessed both sides of the coin here and ive heard people gripe when someone races him that way.
 
Its all about respect and quite frankly.......respect is gone to alot of drivers nowadays. Point in hand..in 82-83.........we ran a sportsman. Ran the same body....frame..........wheels...tires both years. Back then.............if you got roughed up.........you kind of had it coming to you. We raced clean. We never got touched really.........got hit once when red came out. But man.........you should really be able to race a car against someone else.......not touch them..............not even really lean on them. That is supposed to be how it goes. But.......it doesnt anymore. its..lemme bump this guy out of the way. Or...i got a huge motor so ill just blast him out of the way and make him change his shorts. Not knocking the racing.....was some of the finest. But when you run over people.........hit them to make them walk up the track...........it kind of takes away whatever the purpose that was set out to be. Like i said...if someone hit harrison.knocked him out of the way or flat drove over him........this thread would go totally south.
