No, John Poole did most of his photography at tracks in Illinois.

That Was John Barr (aka Trashdog) at Montgomery. He lives in China now.

Ive known John for years...........really sorry to hear this. Awesome guy............awesome photographer and if you needed a hand........he was there too. Class act

John and his brother Joe took pics at Mt Vernon and Godfrey. Joe passed away a couple years ago. Really good guys and tremendous fans of the sport. God Speed John.

John was a past board member of the St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club and a huge soccer fan.

His twin brother Joe was the longtime president of the St. Louis Radio Controlled Car Club that held races on the parking lots of the furniture store off Brown Rd (McDonnell Douglas Blvd.) and I-270 and also the furniture store on the southeast corner of Lindbergh and I-270 (across Lindbergh from BIGFOOT).

Our thoughts and prayers are with his son Bobby.

Again, more sad news about a member of our racing community.

The Poole brothers are together now shooting pictures from a higher angle.
