I think those are few and far between, unless they are CRAZY!!! Most; I say 'most' of the ones I have met are...crazy that is... That word MOST should help keep me from being badgered to death.. I know there are a few of them out there... But I dont know any of them that arent already taken... So good luck.. If for some strange reason you get an over abundance, send the rest my way. ;) Not the crazy ones either!!!

They have to be raised around it. Your not gonna get any woman to accept the demands of racing unless they have a genuine love for it. I've found one, and I'm heading for the hills.:D

Yea..women who are into it..usually grew up around it. My wife didnt...and well..lets just say..first time i took her to the track...it poured...pits flooded..and her nice white shoes became instant brown. Next day..went got my car..with a tow truck..oh..wait..i had to tow it..from the rear. No way to lock the front wheels..oh..wait. Yes..have her ride in it..backwards. Ok..i still hear about all that today..but..she likes it..not..loves it. Lol..racing is a give and take deal.

A chick that is not a race lover sees a racecar as another woman. It takes up all your time and money, of course they will be jealous and despise it. A lover will hand you her paycheck over to buy stuff for the car without you even asking. They will help you change trannies, and help you manuver the picker when changing motors. They are as rare as white tigers, and I've been lucky enough to have a few. They know who they are.

Single Girls

There are Single girls that LOVE racing.
I would rather spend my Saturday nights at the race track getting dirty than at some fancy restaurant or at the theater.
But that's just the redneck in me I think,

Girls who like racing?

They have to be raised around it. You're not gonna get any woman to accept the demands of racing unless they have a genuine love for it.

Well, I might have to disagree about the being raised around it part. My introduction to racing was at Highland when Jimmy was about 10 years old. At first, I didn't see what they liked about the noise and dirt and monotony of the cars that all looked alike to me. It gave me terrible headaches during the races and a dust hangover the next day. But it was either join them and do this thing as a family or stay at home by myself and have the 3 of them go to the races without me. Most of the time I stayed home, back then. I had some wonderful, quiet Saturday evenings on the patio sipping some wine and reading. Those were the days.

Then we bought Doc Koch's bomber car in 1997 when Jimmy was 15 years old. It was an attempt to introduce Jimmy to mechanics and give both father and son a mutual activity, keeping Jimmy busy and occupied during those sometimes difficult teenage years. Little did I know how deeply engrossed they would become in this new hobby!

So I guess what I'm trying to say here in a long-winded way is, once you get to know and differentiate the cars from one another, get to know a few drivers personally and follow them throughout the night and the racing season, it becomes more interesting and exciting. Then when you personally have someone involved in racing, such as your son, you can't leave it alone. You just have to go to every (well, almost every) race he's in. The racing community becomes like a family for you, one that you look forward to seeing every week. The tracks become like second homes, especially when you "move in" with all of your blankets and seats every week, in your favorite spot sitting with the same people week after week, and year after year.

So I guess I'm one of those girls/women that "learned to love racing" because I had two men in my life that loved it. That's what we do for each other in a family. Sometimes I feel like I do more than they do to accommodate this racing hobby, but it's a family thing for us. Love it or leave 'em. I chose to join 'em and make the most of it.

I'm positive there have to be other females out there, given the chance to learn about the sport, that will come to love it, too. Or am I just really weird?  :D :D :D

Don't answer that last question....I don't want to know.

Well stated, fewer and fewer these days. All is true in the world of racing if it involves dirt.

Yes but where can we find them. I need the 40 somthing croud. Now that the off season is preaty much here have more time to try to get somthing started.

You can never have the best of both worlds. It's either racing or dating! It's like oil and water, they never mix together....it's like cats and water, you never see one swimming...it's like a Chevy motor in a Ford, it just won't fit...it's like George W. Bush sending John Kerry a get well card! Some things just don't go together! Oh, and one other thing, a girl friend costs more than a race car.....in the long run. When it's old and broke, it costs more to "fix er up" than a car. You can sell a car, not a wife! It's illegal to sell human beings...that used to be called slavery!

Wow didnt expect to get every one worked up but hey this is great! Gotta say Im lookin for someone probably less than 30. :)
