If you keep on hounding like this no one is going to want to hire you! We all know by the first couple replys that you are willing to do and go anywhere.........quit posting the same thing over and over! Call around, go to the drivers website, find out his phone number, call them, or e-mail them! No one is going to hire you for posting on here none stop, get your name out there and someone might hire you, good luck and please, please quit posting the same thing over and over......we know!

Who put a gun to your head and made you read this thread?? Just wondering? Leave the guy alone.

It would seem to me you might want to consider drawing up a resume and sending it to teams that run traveling series. I would think those are the ones who would be more likely to have a paying position. Just a thought. Good luck, I hope you land a position somewhere that is to your liking.

Thanks

I do have a Resume I have send it to alot of teams. I am currently talking with Patrick Sheltra(Mr.Showtime),GR. Smith(Wildchild). I was just thought I would see if any local teams would be looking for a full time guy. Thanks for the advice. Shawn

I hope the guy gets a job, I just don't think he needs to hound people! Sheltra is a asphalt guy now (runs very few dirt races) and Smith would be a fun guy to work for, the kid has some huge balls on the track!

By the way, I wasn't trying to be a D**K, just trying to help the guy!

If I owned a race team, I would give you a job in a second based on your persistence and "go-getter" attitude.

I do need the brakes changed on my 99 Escort. The pay would not be great, but I promise a fridge full of beer.:D

No, for real, best of luck to you. Keep at it.

I'd haft to say do what squrrel said hit all the drivers web sites and let them know who and what you have to offer them. don't give up some team owners like myself and a old boss of mine like to see persistence and a go getter attitude like Adrenochrome says. I myself keep pushing my issue's untill I get the results I want or find out I'm beating a dead horse. If you keep on pushing it good things will come. Just remember that with the times being as hard as they are, it might take some time for things to happen. I'm guessing you will start geting E-Mails and calls sometime after Christmas.
People need to get ready for Florida but still need to make it through Christmas.
Best of luck. If none of this works I say goto Florida and hang out at the tracks, Heck you might even run up on a NASCAR driver needing some help for a dirt team. Good thingshappen if you work for it.

I am currently talking with Patrick Sheltra

This would be a tough gig to land, as they usually have a full traveling crew. But if you do, you better be prepared for lots of fun and some late nights. Saul and Barry are the best. Good people too. The Sheltra's run a first class operation. If you are talking to Mark Saul or Barry Thomas, tell them the Chickenman from STL says hello, and I will see them in FLA.
