low down dirty racing

Allied needs to do something about the dirty racing at pevely last night with the pro4s. last night someone could have seriously gotten hurt and even more cars could have gotten tore up. does winning really mean that much that someone has to take a driver out the way they did?

Three weeks ago, my son was put into the wall on the first lap of the second feature, Not once, but twice. In the heat of the moment, he let that driver know that he was #1. Allied fined him $100 for his actions, witch they should. But they have road him with a strong hand from day one. Now, I have told him to drive the other drivers just like they drive him. If they put a bumper to him, I told him to return the same if not more. Maybe others are getting tired of the non driving, can't control there car drivers running into them too.

Always seems the one retaliating whether its with the bumper or a hand gesture is the one punished. Wish all I was out was a $100

Joe, I'm in no way taking sides; but I Just reviewed the video from that night.... Sorry, but there was no way the driver could have known Blake was there either time.... There was some dirty or impatient driving out there in that race but not with your sons incident.

Would like to now more about the accident in the pro4 devision . I am of the opinion if the tracks do not require FURL CELLS there will be a fire were some one will get burned reel bad.

Only problems I've seen with the stock fuel systems is when people do a chop job altering the fuel lines. Or do some drilling and not pay attention to where the fuel system is. The stock unaltered fuel system is just as safe as a fuel cell. The fuel cell can also be unsafe if not done properly..

I believe he is referring to Justin Reando being hooked all the way down the backstretch and then launched 20 feet in the air destroying his car. Very scary wreck and I'm glad he is ok. The guy races clean and obviously takes pride in his car. However, this is not an Allied problem. It goes on in this class every night at every racetrack in the area. There are vultures who do not care if they tear your car up, they dont really care if they tear their own car up. More problematic than that is the fact these guys don't use enough brain power to consider the possible consequences of that so called style of "racing". These are the guys that if they get close enough to the front, if they even get a whiff of the lead, they will run over you and do it with a smile. It's really not hard to not wreck these cars. It's not. But somehow it happens nearly every night. Look around the pit area and then think about whether your philosophy and approach jives with everyone you race against. I can promise you it won't. And if you are one of the vultures, it doesnt matter either way. In fact, if you race with some class, be clean and be smart, it just makes the target on your door that much bigger. JMO but it is what it is.

Did anyone notice how the second place car of #57e was extracted from that position in the Pro4 feature saturday night!?

It was the 17j that waited on 57e and took him out... He is gonna get someone killed.. What a low down dirty bastard!!! And i think thats why this thread got started..

There is way too much retaliation going on out there! Things happen on the track and there not always on purpose. Drivers need to be respectful even when someone gets into you. For the guys who continually get into others, try harder next time not to!

Rob, I thank you for looking at your video. On ours you could not tell for sure. But at the same time we are sick of the drivers that can't seem to hold there line, set up there cars, or just have enough respect to not run over a car thats pasting them. There come a time when each driver has to make a stand an let the others know that they are not going to take it any more. And now that Blake is doing all the work on the car themself, he is seeing more of the big picture of racing. I still help him at the track, but it is all him at home. And he is sick of fixing the car because someone was just stupid.

Oh gentlemen... Getting rid of a class wont solve anything. The idiots are everywhere. They will go cause probs elsewhere, or in another class..1. Run their non drivin ***** head on into the wall and tear up their $hit everytime they hit the track. Be sure that its a different person each time though..Thats the way we did it back in the day..and it worked.... When ur too broke to race cause you are fixing stuff and buying a new car each week, sooner or later you have to succumb. I realize that all sounds a bit harsh, and to radical for most of you panty wastes, and pussies out there. It is not politically correct, nor proper.... Its not something I would want done to me, or would want to have to do to someone else.... BUT it is an option... 2.So is getting ur whole class together and addressing the problem. If there are enough people that have been wronged you will have a following, to exercise your right to b!tch, and maybe get said non driver to see it your way.. In other words... Power to the people....American History... 9th Grade. If you have enough people... you CAN get ANYTHING done...Dont kill this poor individual with an ontrack incident.... probably no need to rough him up. Just get the message across... Make Pevely a happy place to race  My personal favorite is option 1 !!!! Jason Brewington

As someone did in another thread...Lets look at the money side. Being conservative.... lets say 30 cars;. 2 people per car, yes I know most cars bring 3 to 4 people, and a few in the stands... And most of those eat something... BUT lets just stick with the car count. 25x30x2=$1500... What gets paid out of that? I dont go to Pevely so correct me if Im wrong, but I believe its 1st thru 5th. $50 being first place and $20 for third. Think about it...!! The money isnt going to the class.. It pays for the other classes!!! Its a racetrack saver!! Tracks are surviving because of classes like these!! Wake up people!!

What I seen and retaliation.........

Aaron, thats pretty much the way I seen it. I stand at the exit of turn two by the caution light which gives a real good view of the cars coming off the turn and down the stretch. While my driver is not above making mistakes, he does "not" turn left into other drivers on the straights. Thats what happened to us and we are out of a race car but lucky Justin did not end up with a broken neck. I appreciate the safety crew and Allied officials getting to the car quick and checking on him. What can Allied do? just clamp down and start booting dirty drivers. I think it should be addressed by Ray as well. As of this past Saturday, Ray is out an easy $100 that we spend on pit fee's and grand stand tickets every weekend. One other person indirectly affected by my car being destroyed is Jimmy Dearing, my wife likes to by photographs. Did not see what happened to Earl Pryor ( not easy to see out of the ambulance) but the guy's involved with his deal are not new to the tactics they used on him...If I recall correct they got booted from Belleville last season. Retaliation? usually the only ones concerned are the ones that know they got one comin, dont worry about us though. We have nothing left POOF fast race car gone done, finished. Jon Reando

Get rid of the Pro 4's that will solve all these problems.

Well I guess I am not with the modern tech knowledge So instead of trying to get more fans in the stands You just add more classes of cars What ever happned when there were only two classes and the grandstands were packed at Belleville
