Corona, CA (December 6, 2007) - Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials are excited to announce that Jasper Engines will title sponsor our Road to Wheatland bonus program. The "Jasper Engines Road to Wheatland" bonus program will reward participants that follow the Lucas Late Model Dirt Series throughout it's 2008 schedule. The series tours the Midwest and eastern United states, beginning at the "32nd Annual East Bay Winternationals" at East Bay Raceway in Tampa, FL., and culminating at the recently announced "Super Clean Diamond Nationals event at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. The SuperClean Diamond Nationals will be held May 9th and 10th, and will pay a staggering $40,000 to the winner, along with a one of kind gold and diamond ring.

The "Jasper Engines Road to Wheatland" begins with a visit to East Bay Raceway February 4th and continues on to Brownstown Speedway on March 29th. Next are Screven Motor Speedway and Golden Isles Speedway on April 4th and 5th, followed by K-C Raceway April 12. The series then visits Bedford Speedway and Hagerstown Speedway April 25th and 26th, on it's way to "The 99" at Kentucky Lake Speedway the first weekend of May. The long windy road takes the teams across the United States and leads to the "Super Clean Diamond Nationals on Mothers Days Weekend May 9th and 10th, 2008.

We are very excited to have Jasper Engines www.jasperengines.com as the title sponsor of the "Road to Wheatland" in 2008 and we want to strengthen our program for the drivers that support our return trip back to the Diamond of Dirt Tracks. It takes a huge financial commitment to follow any Series and Lucas Oil and Jasper Engines are investing in the teams that commit to the "Jasper Engines Road to Wheatland" in 2008", stated Ritchie Lewis, Series Director.

On top of the Jasper engines Road to Wheatland program and the SuperClean Diamond Nationals, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series offers the "Winners Circle Program". This is an incentive program that will pay the top ten drivers in the 2008 Championship Points an extra $600 each with perfect attendance throughout 2008. The "Jasper Engines Road to Wheatland" Program will also pay an additional $600 to each of the ten highest points drivers from the final 2007 Championship Points standings that follow the Road to Wheatland with perfect attendance but are not in the current top ten in points.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was founded in 2005 and has seen steady growth in the three years of their existence and is now the premier dirt late model touring series in the country. The series sanctioned 33 events, at 25 different race tracks, in 15 different states in 2007. A total of 554 drivers entered at least one series event with 18 different drivers winning an event in 2007.
