August 16, 2007 - Earlier this month the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO extended its season one week to include one final O’Reilly MLRA event scheduled for Saturday, September 8th. Throughout their 2007 season, Midwest Walnut has stepped up with the MLRA Lucky Stars Program. At multiple events this year, a number from 11 to 24 is drawn prior to the start. Currently Reid Millard, Richard Foster, Jason Bodenhamer, L.D. Clawson, Larry Clawson, Jack Sullivan, Ken Essary, Scott Drake and Gary Stolba have received the Lucky Star bonus.
For the September 8th event at Lucas Oil Speedway, Midwest Walnut has stepped up again. For this event there will be an extra bonus for previous Lucky Star winners in the “A” Feature. There will also be special Midwest Walnut provisional spots for any current Lucky Star recipients that do not make the “A” Feature.
There are still two more chances to make the Lucky Star list before the Lucas Oil Speedway event (Sedalia on August 19th and Monett, September 2nd and). The Midwest Walnut bonus on September 8th could be as much as $5000 to $6000 between the reining 2007 Lucky Stars.
