Lucas Oil Speedway releases 2006 schedule!

WHEATLAND, MO - Officials at the Lucas Oil Speedway located in Wheatland, MO are proud to release the 2006 Schedule of Events for the refurbished 3/8th mile speedway. With the cooperation of Mother Nature and the exhausting efforts of Gary Hubert and his expert construction crew the major renovation, of what will be the “Finest Dirt Track in the Nation”, will be complete and the first green flag of the 2006 season will fly on Saturday night May 20th. Already nicknamed the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” the facility will be state-of-the art in every way, including the best of the best immensities for race fans as well as the racing competitors.

Slated to race on Saturday nights will be; Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and two new classes, B-Mods and the exciting Figure Eight cars. Special events on the schedule will include; Late Model, Non-winged Sprint Car, Midget and Modified Touring Series. There will also be a Tractor Pulling series and Lucas Oil Speedway will host the 2006 INEX 600 Legend Car Dirt Nationals.
