Auto Zone, Texas Roadhouse and Macon Speedway have partnered up to bring you two car shows to kick off the 2009 racing season. The car shows will take place at the Texas Roadhouse in Forsyth, IL on Saturday March 14 starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until 2:30 p.m. Then car show enthusiasts will be treated to a second show at Auto Zone on Brett Ave in Decatur, IL, on Sunday, March 15 starting at 2p.m. and lasting until 4p.m. Come and see all the same race cars that race at Macon Speedway each and every Saturday night throughout the summer. Also on display will be the 2 seater Macon Speedway show car.
Behind The Pit Wall traveling show will be aired live from the Big Yellow US 101 Truck on Sunday, March 15 at Auto Zone. Larry Limbach will be interviewing area racing celebrities throughout the event.
If that’s not enough to get you there, Auto Zone and Macon Speedway will be giving out Door Prizes approximately every 15 minutes on Sunday starting when the Behind The Pit Wall Show begins. Prizes such as 10 pairs of tickets for Opening Night at Macon Speedway are just some of the prizes to be given away to those who are there. Join us as we check out all the cars that will be kicking off the season at Macon Speedway at the Second Annual Spring Fling Season Opener on April 4.
