Macon Speedway gearing up for the 25th annual Herald & Review 100

It’s Macon Speedway biggest race of the season the summer nationals Hearald & Review 100. The 21st stop of the 29 race schedule and the racing on the summer national
Has been red hot. Former track champion Shannon Babb the Moweaqua missile has 10 victories so far through the series and is closing in on his boss's record with 12 victories in the summer nationals series. Shannon hopes this Thursday he wi1l bring home his first victory in the Herald & Review 100. Shannon had A Herald & Review victory but when he crossed the scales he was too light of the 2300 minimum weight requirement and he was disqualified.
It’s going to be A great event this Thursday with
A lot of big names to see if last years winner Don O'Neal
can repeat or if A local driver can come home with an victory. Track owner said if the big boys think they are going to walk in town and take the $6,000 first prize money from the local boys, I think they are going to have an surprise with Joe Ross A former track Herald & Review 100 champion. Joe goes into this Thursday race with B victories in the 2005 season and just 12 points behind the current points leader from Greenfield’s Wisconsin Jamie Zyder. Jamie has only 1 feature in the 2005 Eason at Macon Speedway but he has been very consistent and he hopes to bring the Macon Speedway track champion back to Green field Wisconsin

The Jenkins’s prepared machine from Mt. Zion, the Jenkins’s family is no stranger to the H&R 100 winner's circle when Jim Leka is A past winner of this great event. Alotof cars has followed the series so far in 2005 drivers such as Shannon Babb, Jimmy Mars, Billy Moyer, Billy Drake, Jeep Van Wormer Dennis Erb just to name A few. Track owner Rich Webb said we've been getting the place in great shape with all the bleacher's with an new paint job for the bigges race of the season.

Also running this Thursday along with H&RIOO will be the modified's and the mini sprints so race fan'sget ready to see an full excitement Of racing this Thursday July 14th the 25th annual Herald & Review IOO. Gates open at noon, time trials at 7:00 P.M. and the first race at 7:30 P.M.
