Hey Blaze , with all the extra parts you have for sale you could trade for a good motor to race with.
 
fuel milage

is there anybody in the open class concerned about making it 20 laps on a 5th mile track on 1 tank of fuel, throw in a caution or 2, ???
 
WE dont need any cautions, just use a bigger tank. Guys made it last year with big motors and duel carbs.

Unfortunatly I don't think my kart can make 20 laps on 1 tank of fuel.My tank holds 4qts.I've run out @ Bedrock running 15 laps.(A LOT OF CAUTIONS)My kart doesn't have room for a larger tank.So,I'll stay home.Bummer!With gas up to $3/gal,it's just not worth the expence to gamble on finishing the feature.JMO.Maybe next year.:(

thats why i asked about a 20lap feature on a big fast track. we are in the same boat, a 4qt tank is all the room we have and i dont see it making it all the way,but we will know after one heat.hopefully everyone keeps an open mind till after the heats.its a three hour drive to get there and i dont want it to be a wasted trip.

Best of luck to you.I'm not going to take that chance.It's just too far to drive not knowing if it'll make it.And truthfully it's no falt of the promoters that our karts have small fuel tanks.Hopefully by next year I can enlarge this tank.
