How can there be a penalty on GREEN flag "racing" conditions??? How do we know that the 87's throttle didn't get stuck when he was door slammed by the 57???

There's other ways to handle it other than slamming someone like a complete idiot. Especially when you are on the board. And yes that makes a difference.

There was no where else to pass on that one lane track.

And his throttle obviously didn't stick as Brian is clearly admitting he took him out on purpose.

well at least we got to see a lil action on a dry sli k one groove track! LETS HOPE THEY TAKE CARE OF IT FOR THE HELL TOUR!!!

Racing is a sport where sometimes drivers take care of a situation themselves. Sometimes its immediate; other times its at a later race. Always has and always will been done that way. Obviously Ray and Gary felt the need to do it on this occassion. Some drivers out there would continue to drive dirty if nothing is done to them. The officials cant watch and catch everything. Frankly I think this "self policing" keeps the sport in check. Matter of fact it probably works more efficiently than when handled by the track.

Didnt see the incident so i dont have any comment on the specific event itself.

I agree 100%! Let the boys be boys! If you can dish it you better be able top take it! Officals can or will only punish offenders when or if a caution results. The constant beating on a guys azz end or driving down the side of a guys race car draws nothing but maybe a warning. What I seen saturday night was 2 clear messages sent. For the recipients sake I hope they were received loud and clear. If not, snug the belts!

The video is up and tell me where the constant beating on a guys azz is?

I didn't say anything about that in this case, i am using that as example. But in your nice little video I do see the 87 being cocked sideways by Mr. Clean 57 just before his pass on the 87. Why was he in a guys quarter panel at the flag stand? I'm sure in wasn't to upset the 87's entry into the corner was it? So he could make a move off? Like he did? Furthermore, there was room to get a nose under the 87 was for multiple laps. But getting the nose under someone and the whole car is a different story. The 57 knew he would have to drive down the side of the 87 to get up next to him, and that's just what he did. Some are calling it a door slam but he leaned on the 87 the whole back strait which is no better. This just 2 weeks after coming on the front stretch to apologize for knocking the 87's quarter panel damn near off. So seems to me the 87 may not have reacted like he did with someone else, but since the 57 has made good practice of making contact with the 87 this year, that straw broke the camel's back.

And trey went onto the track to apologize to gary and gary said no big deal it was good racing that night..so why not come out at that point and tell trey how he really felt?

Couldn't agree more... When a track is so limited with passing, drivers sometimes make poor decisions and drive a little over their heads for one more spot and are forced to try to stick their cars in a spot that isn't there...

Because Gary was probably talkin out both sides of his mouth just like he did at recent board meeting with no regard to what I thought was a friend but I guess free cheeseburgers are more important as board member but that's ok , I just hope trey will be able to debut that new worley chassis next season! I saw good hard racing - did anyone mention how Gary kept shutting the door in turn 2 on Trey for several laps ? That was racing as far as I could see. Now Brian let's use words from your mom a quote from her to be exact ( There are 2 sides to every story ) and you were not there to be exact......As far as water being in the cup that is a flat out lie and being ex old friends gives her no rights to come into our pits 2 times during the races and throw a beer at him ..... Gus was such a gentleman and did not do anything to her he just tried to avoid her. She threw a beer dude while in the pits while the races where still going on. And we all smelt the beer and so did someone more powerful than ALLIED. Just Sayin ! Get your facts straight ! Your are listening to your mothers side of the the story the truth is in the print I JUST STATED ! Then she had the nerve to hollar at me in the pits when I was minding my own business - be glad I had no clue about Gus at that time or this would be another post on STL. Gary has admitted he did it on purpose so why was his wife hitting on Trey in the pits - then piss and moan and cuss people along her way to throw a BEER at Gus. He saw her coming and he went to the back of the truck and there she was BOOM ! We are not the only ex friends but then again how many times can someone be a no good MF and maintain friendship ? Garys fault not ours so don't make us sound bad. I remember last year when Gary had a tire rub not a dent one but a tire rub and they were screaming they got slammed so perception is important when you hear someone slammed him. If you can't go racing without trying to kill someone then keep it at home it will be ready for the car show.... And tell your mother if she ever messes with my family again she will be taken out by me like Gary took out Trey ... See you at the races and have a good day. Oh yea and don't a car length and a half opening if you don't want to get passed .......

I totally agree with you Lisa, it looked like two guys racing hard for the win. Gary kept coming down on Trey but coming out of two Trey was there and took the lead (from what I can see in the video posted).

If Gary admitted to taking him out intentionally what was Joann so mad about. Gary got evenl, Trey didn't win....

Unbelievable she threw a beer at Gus during the races and then yelled at you, what the heck. It isn't like it was Chris that was racing Gary for the lead....

I know what TTG would say! lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought alcoholic beverages were not allowed in the pit area during racing. Someone please clarify this. All we need is drunk morons walking around finely tunes machines traveling at breakneck speeds

I really think mike would have loved it Saturday. There was definitely some excitement on and off track!

Walsh took himself out of the race when he decided to spin Mad Dog on the back straightaway. If I were Mark I would have beat his *****!!

Well, there would have been one positive thing if you were and would have tried to beat Walsh's azz. The ambulance was parked just a few feet away to carry your azz off afterwards!
