Magnolia Motor Speedway Welcomes NeSmith National Late Model Series

Columbus, Mississippi (6/10/09) - Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi returns to action this Sunday Night, June 14th with the 2nd Annual Racing Electronics Summertime Blues.

The 2nd Annual Racing Electronics Summertime Blues event will be headlined by the NeSmith National Late Model Series battling for a $2,000 top prize in a 40 lap event. Crate Late Model drivers from across the Southeast are expected to converge on the immaculate, 3/8 mile oval to battle for the top prize and the bragging rights. The tour will be lead into battle by current point’s leader Eric Cooley along with David Gentry, Larry Boutwell, Jay Blair, Derrick Rainey, Mathew Turner, Jason Wilson, Chase Washington, Ben McCreary, Chip Brindle, and many more.

Along with the NeSmith Chevrolet National Dirt Late Model Series, the Super Late Models, Late Model Stock, Open Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Stingers will also be in action.

On Sunday the pit gate opens at 3pm with the grandstand gates opening at 5pm. The driver’s meeting is slated for 6pm with racing action at 7pm. Grandstand admission is $15.00 for adults, $12 for active military, seniorsand students (11-18), and children 10 & under are free, when accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $30.00.

Please note that Raceceivers are mandatory for all divisions and are available for rental at the track.
