The paint man!!!!!!!!
Just so everyone knows, I drove the old Hammerle car at Malden in my first heat race ever.....I ****ed bad, got lapped in 8 laps....it was pathetic!!!! The car is great however I am not a racer, just a fan that can drive from the stands!!!!! I will drive the car again in the new 2011 season, I now have a whole new appreciation for all drivers!!! Just throwing out my experience from being behind the wheel for the first time!!
 
Man you are so lucky to get to drive a Hammerle car. That is something I always wanted to do, I helped Mike back in his modified days in the 80's and got to work on all the different cars he built it is something I will never forget.
 
Norm, You did a great job! You held your line, hung in there and was actually pretty fast. Very nice of Mike Bach to let you drive....but......we were all sitting in the stands watching. You drove the whole race one handed!!! You either had a death grip on the bar or thought you were still holding your beer LOL...see attached photo. IMG_0062b.jpg

Thanks Dave..............I wasn't thinking about a cold beer at all.....just about not having to do more paint work on the car if I crashed it!!!! I had a blast, and am looking forward to driving it again....WITH BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL!!!!!
 
You dome more than alot of people do and thats actually belt your butt in a car and drive it. Congrats.............seat time will only make you better. Have fun with it...........its what its all about.
