Dominating. In one word to describe Steve Karnes' performance in the Late Model feature. Karnes started in the 12th spot and used the first 10 laps of the 40-lap affair to move to the front. After the Charles Morrisett three-way entry swept the heat races, the talk
of the track was which one of the #54 cars would win. Although they made a
good showing, Johnny Houart came through to take the top honors. Matt
Sturch in the 54B took the early lead only to be passed by Tony Anglin in
the 54A on lap3. They stayed that way until the Sturch car broke while
running second. Following a pair of cautions Jarrett Melton moved into the
lead for a short period on laps 11 and 12 but got tangled with Tony Anglin
and fell back. Melton then hit Anglin under caution and was black flagged.
Eventual winner Houart watched all this from the third spot and was ready to
make his move, diving under both remaining 54 cars to take the lead coming
out of turn four on lap 17. Houart would lead the rest of the way to take
the checkered flag. Cook edged Anglin for second. Tim Winchester moved up
to take fourth, and Steven Cunningham was fifth.

Brandt Barksdale and Jimmy Cornell won the B-Mains.

Friday's heat races were won by Anglin (2), Sturch (2), and Cook (2).

Greg Casey won a late duel with Kyle Berry to take top honors in the Street
Stock class. Berry opened the race and threatened to run away and hide, as
he built a three second lead on the field before a lap 5 caution brought him
back. From that point on the lead was highly contested. Casey grabbed the
lead for good coming down the front straight on lap 13. The fight was not
over though as Berry hung tough, the lead pair went under the white flag
side by side. Casey had the momentum out of turn four to win by a car
length. Jeff Beeson, who battled the leaders mid race, held on for third.
Red Rice and Steve Forsythe rounded out the top five.

Coy Yancy and Jacob Black won the B-Mains.

Friday night's heat races went to Berry (2), Jimmy Cornell, Scott Wicker,
