Mark, who hails from Middleburg, Florida, is 32-years-old and has been racing for over fifteen years with dozens of wins as well as multiple national and track championships along the way. Known as "The Magic Man" Whitener pilots the #58 Big Frog Motorsports/Dave's Towing/B&B Produce/Barry Wright Late Model at events throughout the Southeast. The team is enjoying a great start to the 2013 season with Whitener already visiting victory lane on eight occasions including a clean sweep of Fastrak Late Model competition during the 37th Annual Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida).
The upcoming weekend, July 12th-13th, will see the team taking part in a pair of events in the state of Georgia. On Friday, July 12th the team will invade 441 Speedway (Rentz, Georgia) for a $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned event. Saturday evening will find the team competing at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) with the Hedman Husler National Late Model Series (NLMS) in a $4,000-to-win slate.
