(Lebanon) The Midwest's fastest Late Models hit the high banks of the
Lebanon I-44 Speedway for the final time this season for the MARS-MLRA
Fall Shootout this Friday and Saturday.

Earlier this month, Terry Phillips won $10,000 and took the trophy in
the 40-lap Larry Phillips Memorial Late Model feature. It was a
thrilling and emotional victory for Phillips, who had been trying for
five years to win the race named for his late father. Phillips made
the winning pass on Bill Frye on the outside of turn four, and held
the lead for the rest of the race to take the checkered flag.

Frye looks to seal his 2007 MARS season championship this weekend. He
goes into this final weekend of the MARS series 74 points ahead of
Terry Phillips, and 78 points ahead of Will Vaught. Meanwhile, on the
MLRA side, Alan Vaughn holds a 108 point lead over David Turner, and
looks to continue to run consistently. The MLRA season wraps up in
Kansas City on September 29.

Don't count out local favorites like Brandon McCormick, Brad Looney,
and the 2007 Allstate Late Model Champion Dustin Mooneyham, all of
whom are capable of claiming victory at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway.
Also this Friday and Saturday, the Modifieds, Factory Stocks,
B-Modifieds, and Bombers will all compete for bonus prize money. They
will qualify Friday, and run the features on Saturday.

The MARS-MLRA Fall Shootout is this weekend, only at the Lebanon I-44
Speedway. Gates open at 5, racing starts at 730PM sharp. Special
pricing is in effect, but kids 12 and under are always admitted free
at Lebanon's fastest track, the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, located off of
interstate exit 135 on Old Route 66.
