What is the wieght rule???? 2600, 2650, 2700 Have heard three differnt things.....

mel told me the weight rule was 2600lb and that he was thinking of raisin it to 2700lb..at that point i told him i wouldnt be back if he raised the weight limit..our home track is 2500lb,i have to hang weight as it is to go to mcs,i would rather not hang even more on it to get it to 2700....

i wish all these tracks would get on the same page as far as rules,it is plum nuts that every track is different, would make it easier for guys that wanna run different places..

I am trying to get an accurate weight rule incase we show up there this year. The rule book states 2600 lbs. , but I have been told by others that it was 2650 and also told 2700. I just don't want to make an appearance and be under weight. That felt good to say under weight coming from a fat boy.....LOL

where can we get the MCS Bmod rules in writing? The website lists the 2007 rules, and since there was no 2008 meeting, was a new set of rules established?

48. WEIGHT RULE: Minimum weight 2,600 pounds, 2,400 pounds for 602 crate engine cars after race and at all times, with driver. All weight determinations will be determined on the scales selected and determined by U.M.P. for each racing event. You must weigh 2,600 pounds or 2,400 pounds with 602 crate engine with driver at all times on scales selected and determined by the track for each racing event! NO TOLERANCE! One pound light on scales selected and determined by the track for each racing event, is illegal!

I agree with Potter, would be nice if Fulton, Moberly and MCS could get CLOSE on rules.. Especially the bert/brinn thing and weight...

That's the rules. Haven't seen 2008 rules yet. 2650 is the weight rule.
Yes it would be nice to get the rules the same. But when you have a bunch of stuborn promoters nothing gets done. Somebody has to give a little.
If Mel allowed berts, would all the fulton boys change their carbs?

the bert/brinn rule doesnt bother me the slightest.the carb, weight, and tire rule is what is the problem..to go to montgomery i have to add 100lbs and change my carb..for montgomery cars to go to fulton they dont have too do anything..for any of us to go to moberly,we'd have to change the rear suspension, tires, and build a new motor..

do all these tracks not realize they are cutting their own throats?they want car counts to rise, but they dont want to make the rules uniform!

these tracks should work together to get a B-modified series together, then everyone would benefit..

We have to make changes to our cars to come out and run at Fulton and be competitive.

What is fultons carb rule? What's the tire rule?

the tire rule at fulton is pretty open..you can run the A-40,imca tire,or a southwest speed hard tire..whatever you run you have to run the same on all 4 wheels..you can run any 2bbl carb, including Aeresols...

We're going to have to get one of those big hogged out 2 barrels for the next time we head out to fulton

It would be sweet if we could get some consistancy between the tracks. Would be really nice to get some more tracks running B-mods.

Hubby was told per Mel 2750...this is exactly why we're not racing there this year who knows what B-Mods are suppose to weigh!!

Good Luck Jake...Spank some A $ $ :p

Just Depends On The Night..i Have A 890 2bbl,and Truthfully The Last 2 Weeks I Have Been Running A 500 2bbl..first Week I Started Second Row,this Week I Start 5th Row,i Just Never Can Catch A Break In The Feature,i Always Get Caught In The Bs!

Its Fun Getting 26 Cars A Week, just Sometimes Turns Into A Slamfest!
