Bardstown, KY-June 18- Audie McWilliams of Walton, KY would hit paydirt in the Late Model feature Saturday night at Bluegrass Speedway to become the sixth different Late Model feature winner at the ½ mile Nelson County oval in 2005. Terry Bartley of Bardstown, KY would score his first ever Street Stock feature win, while Joe Mattingly of New Hope, KY would become the sixth different Modified feature winner, and Roger Cecil of Balltown, KY would claim the Sportsman feature event.

The 25 lap Late Model main event would see polesitter Cody Mahoney take the initial lead, with Johnny Wheeler, Audie McWilliams, Dan Hoard, and Timmy Yeager in pursuit. Hoard would pressure McWilliams immediately for third on lap 2, but to no avail as caution waved on lap 3 for a spin by Cliff Clark. Back under green, Mahoney continued to be the man on the point, while Yeager would slide beneath Hoard for fourth on lap 4, but Hoard would challenge Yeager right back on lap 5, before Yeager gained control of the spot. McWilliams would begin to put the heat on Wheeler for the runner-up slot on lap 7 and would deal a slidejob on Wheeler in turn four on lap 9 to take the position. As the field saw the halfway signal, Lee Devasier and Billy Dever would make contact on the frontchute, with both spinning and drawing the caution flag. When racing action resumed, Mahoney and McWilliams would pull away a bit from the rest of the pack and would attempt to settle the contest among themselves, while Yeager and Hoard would again battle back and forth for the fourth spot. The lead duo would close on slower traffic with five laps remaining and McWilliams would use a slower car as a pick and take the race lead on lap 21 and hold on for the victory in the John Weber owned Bert Transmissions/C and J Logistics/ Horsepower Ridge sponsored #10 Rocket Chassis, Dargie Race Engines powered mount. Mahoney would take second, with Wheeler third. Yeager would win the battle with Hoard for fourth. Jeff Watson would finish sixth after starting 11th, with Jeff Napper seventh, and Lee Devasier eighth. Joey Daniel would start 21st and take the checkered flag in the seven slot, but was penalized two positions for jumping the start on the final restart and be credited with ninth, while Jerry Ellis, Jr. completed the top ten. Wheeler was the SpeeDecal Vinyl Graphics fast qualifier among 22 entries with a 16.357 second lap, while Mahoney won the dash. Heat wins were scored by Ellis, Jr. and Napper.

Terry Bartley would use his front row starting position to gain his first ever Street Stock feature win as he captured the 12 lap main event in his Nally's Auto Salvage/Quick Care/Fowler Auto Electric and Service Center/S and S Vinyl and Home Improvements #18 Chevelle mount. Shane Litton would finish second for the third time this season, followed by Willie Edelen, Daroyl Samples, and Joe Blair. Rounding out the top ten were Robbie Settles, Brandon Moss, Casey Bryan, Troy Moore, and Brian McCubbins. McCubbins was top qualifier for the 23 entries in the class and also won the dash, while heat race wins went to Key and Bryan.

Joe Mattingly would survive several caution flags to score his first Modified feature win of the season and the former two time track champion piloted his Aaron's Renting and Leasing/Brahm Trucking/Wayne O's Garage/Three-N, Inc. Concrete Basement Walls #42 Bandit Race Cars, J and S Race Engines entry to victory. Dion Benningfield would hold off the 2004 NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series champion Kelly Warren for runner-up honors, while Joe Gray and 22nd starting Jason Wheatley rounded out the top five. Completing the top ten were Adam Cole, Mike Watson, Josh Lucas, Jeremy Colston, and Freddy Garmon. Twenty-two entries saw heat race checkered flags go to Mattingly and John Bryan.

Roger Cecil would lead the way in capturing the 15 lap Sportsman finale of the evening in his Cecil Trucking/R and R Concrete/Neil Cook Construction/Robinson Tire Service/Fulkerson Race Engines/All About Music/Joe Phelps Construction #5 Cutlass entry. Pat Hagan would finish a close second, with Mike Bailey third, and Danny Blackwell and Billy Benningfield completing the top five. Jason Basham would head up the second five, followed by Sam Huffer, Dion West, Jason Priddy, and Kevin Long. Heat wins among the 16 entries were taken by Cecil and Johnny Lee.
