Jr. 1 Heavy 8-12 yrs. (.425 silver ARC / clone engines .425 blue flathead engines) 260 lbs.
Jr. 2 Heavy 12-15 yrs. (.500 purple ARC / clone engines .500 red / flathead engines) 320 lbs.
Heavy 14-up 375 lbs. clone engines / 365 lbs. flathead engines*
*Weights / class must be posted on left front of kart
Adult classes: Drivers must be attained age of 14 and will not be allowed to run Junior 2 classes
once they race in adult classes.
Race agenda:
Races will be after regular show on Saturday December 31, 2011
2 heats / features / Draw for position.
16 karts to the ‘A’ Main feature
Kart numbers MUST be legible or you will not be scored.
Next we will have what we call a Second Chance
At Lap #25 we will caution the races, all karts will scale and then pull to the infield.
We will then open the pit gates and allow one pit crew member along with kart stand and all necessary tools to make changes to your kart. You will be able to do anything to your kart other than change the motor or driver (person). You will have 10 minutes to make changes. At 8 minutes we will give a 2 minute warning.
At the end of 10 minutes we will reset the clock to 2 minutes. Karts must be running and in correct starting position and crew member and kart stand must be off the track or driver will not be allowed to continue the race.
