Melvin breaks track record at Crownpoint

FYI.....Bloomquist has won $95,000.00 this year with the WoO late models..leads the points...not to mention his other wins this year...Alltel mod race (100,000.00), Show Me 100 (38,000.00), and the Dream (100,000.00)..that puts him at nearly $340,000.00 for the year...and a lot of big races yet to run...
 
That is very very true! It is kinda sad though when you look at how much he has made in a whole season so far O'Neal has made in 20 something days!!! You know Bloomquist would have loved to run the SN! I am sure alot of other guys would have to!
 
I am with you on that one, at TriCity last weekend for the SN race there they said Bloomquist was coming, and everyone said well we might as well go home! I am planning on going to the WoO race there the 1st but i am pretty sure unless something happens he will dominate!
 
Yeah The XDCS is racing in Laselle IL on the 31st of July, I have emailed alot of those guys to see if any of them are going to stick around to make an apperance at the WoO race at tricity on the 1st of August!
 
The only drawback to this is attrition rate on 1/2 mile tracks is very high. Some guys elect to run a smaller track if there is one running close by. WoO guys don't have a choice if they are in the points chase though.
 
That WoO late model race the night before Granite at Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, In...now that would be one to go see...thats a definite one for me also...
 
Yea i think i am going to hit both of them! Alot of the XDCS guys will run it thought because Mars, Pearson jr., Birky, and a few mars guys all ran the Sn race at tricity last week! I thought maybe to get some practice for the WoO race there?
