Wednesday, July 25, 2012 Madison County Fair MOWA Sprint Series races into the Highland Speedway featuring MOWA Sprints, $700 to Win MICROS, and Highland Speedway SportMods!!!! Come out and join us for an exciting night of open wheel racing! Pits Open at 3:00pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30pm, Racing Starts at 6:30pm. Pit Passes are $25, Box Seats are $15, General Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Don’t forget to stop at the main pavilion and enjoy Live Wire Entertainment from 8pm - Midnight!

Highland has not had Sprint cars there in a few years. This should be a good show to attend and the 600's will be wide open there. Good idea for the Fair.
 
Aint never seen sprints there... Gonna be a hell of a show and cant wait to see this!!!!
 
Looking forward to seeing winged 410 sprint cars at Highland. The last time sprint cars were there was almost nine years ago on Aug. 18, 2003 with the Non-Wing World Championship Tour sanctioned by the SCRA. Cory Kruseman was the winner of that event. Before that, you have to go all the way back to 1995 or so when Highland scheduled an unsanctioned winged 360 show. I believe Springfield's Tommy Scott was the winner of that one over a very small field of cars. MOWA has been drawing solid fields at all of their shows this year. I'd expect 25-30 cars at Highland on Wednesday.
 
Went back to my notebooks and it was 2003 the last time Sprints cars raced there. I remember how the race ended. The right rear tire came off the lead car and bounced out of the track off turn three and bounced into the pits.
 
Scott and crew were working the track all night last night. This should be a great show tonight. We hope to see you all tonight at Highland Speedway. Again general admission gates open at 5:30 for the low price of $12.
 
You state racing starts at 6:30...MOWA's website says hot laps at 6:45. So which is correct?
