BELLEVILLE, IL: For the third time this season, midget auto racing roars into the Belle-Clair Speedway Sunday, July 10th for the annual Shannon Finley Memorial Race sanctioned by Gateway Racing Incorporated (GRI)..
Another strong contingent of GRI competitors will step up to give previous feature winners Mike Hess & Donnie Lehmann some competition. Last months midget and micro double header saw 34 midgets and 40 micro sprints fill the pit area.
Some of the Midwest's finest talent including Steve Knepper, Joey Montgomery, Tim Siner, Brett Anderson, Justin Allgaier, Rich Camfield, as well as the fore mentioned Hess and Lehmann, are expected to be on-hand for the July 10th show..
Winged 600 c.c. micro sprints paying $500 to win will complete the evening's two division program.
Pit gates open at 2:00. Spectator gates open at 4:30. Hot laps are at 6:00. Race time on Sunday is 6:30 pm.
Sunday's grandstand tickets are just $12. Children under twelve will be admitted free.
