Lebanon,Mo.-The officials at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway have added 1 more night of racing to the 2009 racing schedule with a different type of racing format.
Friday Night October 2nd will feature 5 classes of racing as those competing will feature A-Mods,FactoryStocks,Bombers,B-Mods and Purestocks.
All 5 classes will time-in with only 1 lap on the speedway clock.No heat races will be ran instead it will be 2 features in each class.The first feature will be heads-up off time trials,The second feature will be a complete inverted finish of feature number 1.The 2 features will be total-up in points and the lowest amount of points will be declared the winner.The winner of each feature will recieve 1 point with a 1 point increase to every position after that.In case of a tie,the results of feature number 2 will determine the outcome.A pitstop chaalange will also be included in the eveninga activities after time trials.
Regular Payout will be up for grabs as Yeoman Racing Engines in Galena,Kansas and Mach 1 Race Cars in Iola,Kansas have stepped-up to sponsor the A-Mod portion of the event.
Gates will open at 5 with Time Trials to start around 7:45 and non-stop action following that.
Admission in the grandstands will be $10 for Adults while pitpasses are scheduled to be $25 per person.
