Mike Hammerle Update

Update on Mike Hammerle!!!!!! We just got off the phone with Mike in Florida. He had a short stay in the hospital, was released with only 1 broken rib. Thank goodness. With the kind of crash he explained to us, things could have been so much worse. He says he is very sore, but other than that, he is wonderful. He will be staying in Florida a few more days and then be on his way home to Saint Charles. Doctors say he will be unable to race for 2-3 weeks, so his rib has time to heal. But that will put him back in the race car in due time for opening season locally. Thank you everyone for the get well wishes. We have told Mike just how many people have responded to the many posts.

GLAD TO HEAR MIKE IS O.K.

COMPARED TO SOME OF HIS INJURIES HE'S HAD FROM RACING OVER THE YEARS, A RIB IS JUST A MINOR INCONVENIENCE.:)

I agree with you drifter: Remember when he was driving with the pins in his wrist? That was just crazy .. But then again we are talking about the Hammerman!!!! Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Great News!!!

That is GREAT News, Montgomery and the parties afterwards just wouldn't be the same without hearing Mike's distinct voice telling the stories and passing on some of his vast wisdom over some cold ones.... Mike we are all glad to hear that your going to be OK and ready for this up-coming race season.. The 406 family:)
