Does anyone have any info for setting a modified up for DuQoin? Do you prettymuch run the normal setup? What do you change? Which gear do you run? How do I get hold of nasa to use the wind tunnel?
Sorry for so many questions but I havn't been there before and would appreciate any info I can get.

pm me your normal gear ratio and rear end for your home track along with tire sizes and size of home track...
 
Be sure and safety wire & locknut everything, also make sure all body panels are double secure as you won't believe the wind goin down the straights...balance the tires and hard compounds on the right side...somewhere around 4:11 with a real good motor.....
 
slow the steering down, if it is adjustable, and put as much caster in it as you can stand, without turning your arms to spaghetti. art.
 
I would also change the front end alignment.
left -------- right
caster +5.5 -- caster +6
camber +1 -- camber -1.5
1/16 toe out


When ya get the front set, be sure and check your wheelbase front to rear (you'll hafta check the rulebook as I can't remember it) you need to check this because when you set caster like that it moves the spindles back shortning your wheelbase, and they will tech you....
