(Macon, IL) Miles Chevrolet will be the sponsor this weekend at Macon Speedway. We will be hosting our third Macon Speedway driver autograph session and the first of three Street Stock Specials. The winner of this week’s street stock special will go home with $400. The night’s action will also include the UMP Chevrolet Late Models, UMP Barbeck Communications Modifieds, UMP Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman and the UMP Pro and Amateur Hornet divisions. Come out to see if Steve Ewing of Decatur, IL who leads Macon Speedway’s points race in the Street Stock division can win the $400 top prize. Also on the slate for Saturday night’s racing program is the ever popular kids’ club box car races. The Macon Speedway kids have been working on their cars and can’t wait to get behind the wheel of their box cars to see who will win the checkered flag. We will also have a special treat for all the kids at Macon Speedway this Saturday night…ice cream donated by Prairie Farms, Decatur, IL. We will also be drawing out four more qualifiers for the Tony’s Tahoe Giveaway which will be given away on September 6. Don’t miss your chance to be the lucky fan in our Best Fan in the Stands promotion. Each week we award one lucky fan and modified driver $100 each. To get your $100 simply show your support for the modified division in the stands and you might be chosen to be the Best Fan in the Stands.

Come watch as they light up the sky with our huge fireworks display. Next up at Macon Speedway is the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals on July 3, stop #19 on the 30 day Late Model tour. This is the 20th anniversary of the Summer Nationals which kicked off on June 12 and will run 27 races through July12. The Summer Nationals boasts some of the best Late Model racing in the country with the top position’s prize money being awarded almost $200,000 over the course of the 27 races.
