Odd that Randy and Moonman can just walk away from this. You would think there's a signed contract to be honored. It cant be that simple to just lock the gates and go home.

Boy that randy is a stand up guy ain't he fellas?! He done went out and stole money from the guy's who helped him last yr and now gets a big car count...calls the races cause someone pissed on the track...then locks the gates with all the money everyone paid to race like it ain't nothing! He musta needed new batteries for his dilldo he been using on you guys the last couple yrs! Feel sorry for his next round of F-----gs he puts on people! Come out to I-55 and race fellas...at least you'll get paid and be appreciated by the track and the fan's!

Randy had a contract with Jim and Randy feels it has been fulfilled. Jim thought about taking him to court but it could take a year or two. Jim relocated here and bought a house. He doesn't want to string it out, it's easier to just walk and hope someone can possibly step in and buy the place. The track deserves to survive, it just can't with Randy having control. It takes 2-3 seasons to get the cars and fans to commit to a track. A few weeks just don't cut it. We had a decent start!

I've always wanted too, but sadly my car isn't allied legal. I refuse to comply with those redicoulous engine rules, though I've always wanted to see how we stack up and I was really looking forward to getting to compete at a track that would accept multiple rules packages. ( Allied vs. Callaway)

I believe the street stock class at MMSP has been putting on an excellent show this year and am confident that the acceptance of multiple rule packages was going to make the show even better.

This is really a sad state of affairs.

Unfortunately we never got the chance. In reality it takes 2-3 seasons to get to turn a profit. And often weekly show never break even. Profits come from specials. Those were in the works in the next year or two. State championship race we planned this year was about the only real big one we were working on.

Beer sales would help make a profit, I was on my way to map last sat night when they got rained out. Turned around and went to pevely and was amazed at how many empty beer boxes I saw. There is a huge profit on beer sales

We were talking Monday about moving the north stands to the south and having beer sales on that tend of the track.

I will miss all my kids that helped in the concession stands...the adults as well. We had a great crew and they all loved what we were doing and had a blast doing it. Sorry that they are now out of a job. I think we put out some pretty tasty food too! Even though it didn't work out, I'm glad and proud we put forth the effort.

Will Hammerle be at I-55 Saturday?

Don't know the answer to that. Guess he will have to make a decision. I haven't talked to him yet tonight.

With Highland getting a mix of crates, their late model car count has been pretty much a full field every week, I55 has been around 15 each week.. I know I55 is a bigger track, but seems to me that would make the most sense..
