Not that jim cares, but I was there with 8 other people and the said they will never come back transponder problems and it took them for ever to even figure out what to do, and when they then did very slow to do it. track was like a sheet of ice Jim you wont keep fans or drivers like that and weather was so cold a lot of folks left before intermisson

yea and the new transponder not working was his fault too. People need to stop the hate! people knew it was cold, if they didn't prepare for it I guess they just came out to heat up their tempers. lol
Ice racing? 2-3 wide and passes for the lead around the outside. To me that's good racing. Another guess is people don't know what good racing is. We were done and gone by 10pm if anyone noticed.

How can u say we was done in a reasonable time when we start a 5 that is to long with the little car count they had. We stood around 4 2 hr when they could had done the one one races most of the people came out so they did have to sit so long in the dark shy. The sun was most people heat source.

So what your saying is if it started at 5 we should have been done by a little after 6? Do your math a little better. Goal is to run the show in 3 to 3.5 hours. Or be done by 8 to 8:30. Last race was done at around 9:40. The delays totaled maybe 1.5 hours, still not good but don't exaggerate. People get on here and read 4.5 and think it was a total loss of their time. Get real and be honest, don't get on here and lie about the time.

I'm pretty sure the results that are submitted to speednet are somehow linked to the software that runs the transponder system. Since the company that sold Jim the transponder system pretty much left him hung out to dry this weekend, I have to assume this is the reason for both the delays on Sat. night and the reason the results were not posted.

That is the case. If they get posted or not is still up in the air. Speednet and the transponder are not communicating correctly. System is shipped off right now and the company rep will be running it Saturday. We may change to a traditional hot lap session and a separate qualifying session rather than combine it into what we had wanted to do all at once. They are saying since we basically were doing is register and almost immediately start to qualify it was too soon for the system to be able to transfer all the data. Speednet and the transponder works in unison and apparently it takes longer than we want. So the hot lap session will give us that.

Okay, so how about just reporting results the old fashioned way.....by listing the drivers in the positions that they finished?

Tracks that don't let people know their results seem to get to a point where they have no results to report.....

If someone in the office is available. They will. Just so much to do and so little time. Especially this week.

Montgomery might be the only place to race this week cause its sealed over so tight no rain could penetrate it as long as there is a place to park they should be good

What is this inverting you are talking about?? I thought some lucky fan was going to be able to pick one driver and invert him for his heat race. Is there something different from that now?

It's still an inversion. I guess the term sandbagging is wrong in the case of the those rules. But it might keep one that could have driven just that much harder from doing it. Just because the incentive isn't there. Maybe someone could sponsor a fastime trophy or bonus money? That might keep everyone pushing the limits during timing.
