Montgomery Motorsports Park was a lot better this saturday night.
Speaking from a spectator view the track looked good, intermission ran a little long.
Decent amount of cars and the track officials were proactive on driver attitude just my point of view.
sorry no results I only recognize a few drivers and don't keep track.

does anyone have any results from last night?

All I know...

Late Models: 1. Jason Perry, 2. Brian Dively, 3. Ed Dixon, 4. Rich Lawson

Modifieds: 1. Tim Hancock

It was a lot better conditions but still a lot to learn, Casey looked pretty rough sure could tell at pit meeting he was high on the painkillers! Glossy eyes and not speaking to well. Lol
Looking forward to next week! Just need latemodels not to give up and keep coming back! Could drop crates and bring on sportsman class and be a better show, just a suggestion.

Oh and get a score keeper that's accurate. That will help too, nothing worse than being scored wrong and get tangled up with someone that should be behind you.

Thank you, there are three of us that score and we all have the same results. If your intrested in scoring u can come down anytime and we can see how you do it.

Thank you,
Cindy

just wondering if the big crowd came back after last weeks fiasco and what time were features over with?

I don't come on here and take sides on many issues but I will say this. A scorers position is a thankless job and i challenge anyone to give it a try in a heat race with 10 cars rather than a feature with 20 plus cars in it. If this is Cindy Hancock which I believe it is she rates right up there with debbie and eilleen at I55. All three are some of the best in the business keeping track of the cars and they don't miss very often. Paul Aubuchon

I just wish we could have results everyweek from there... I like to know who ran here or there. You guys are getting some good drivers and with time it will all come together. Best of luck the rest of the year..

good size crowd, features ended around 11;30, long intermission because of more track work,
car count was lower in 4cyl and crates.

Maybe they should open up that Crate class to the UMLA guys as well. If I remember correctly, when they talked about re-opening and asked what classes to run, I believe there was a LOT of support for the ULMA cars. Correct me if I am wrong on that. Or maybe, keep the crates with the Supers (the crates actually ran pretty well with them last night) and bring in a sportman class. Or maybe if there isn't enough support for the Sportman, how about the Sprints. They ran the Sprints at the Lake every week and had a good turnout. Lots of options. Let's wait and see what they do.

Week 2 was definitely better prepared than week #1. Shorter intermission and leave the track alone between the end of heats and start of feature.

Beer,beer,beer...talked to several people that ain't gonna come out cause of this!!! Work all week and enjoy a nice night of great racing and ice cold budlight jmo but who cares i'm dirtboy and don't talk to anybody.....

The night was much better. I did see something's I didn't understand. In the amod feature the 87s got loose and caused the 78 to spin. 78 to the rear and 87s stayed where he was. A couple laps later the 16s got loose and caused the 87s to spin. 87s got his spot back and 16s sent to the rear which he pulled in bc I am assuming with the one lane track they had. Just from a fans point of view didn't make since to me some of the calls that where made. I was there both weeks and plan to be there next week but bolero see better racing. The track is one lane right on the bottom. Car count was down in all class's and I think there were only 2 crate late models. One suggestion was to drop the crates and run ulma which I think would be good, your going to loose 3 cars from the super class now and and the supers counts will be down. Pro 4 again was low on car count.. I hope car counts in all classes goes up but I think they need to add a street stock/sportsman class. But none the less I will be there every week that I can. Best of luck to all!

I still think keep the supers add UMLA and sportman drop crates and pro 4 and if you want add Sprints. Keep the A and B Mods. If sportman doesnt work out and I know its a dieing class you have a back up in the sprints. This way you will still have 5 classes if the sportmans dont work out.

Dirtboy most of the people are farmers up that way. Alot of them dont drink. I talked to quite of few of them about having beer at the track and all of them said that they would rather NOT have them sell it.
