Mod Lites at Belle-Clair next season?

Ron Wick and his wife of Wick Racing Fuel raced a couple of these cars a few years ago. Maybe contact him about info for these cars.

There is not to many classes. To many tracks run the same classes. So if one or two tracks run some different classes. That will give the fans more options to see different types of racing and not the same at every track they go to. And it should help with car counts because of less places to run the same class.

really how is that working out belle claire had what 5 shows for lates but tri citiy car count didn't grow neither did the mods , have you ever been to a scca event they have a gazzilon classes many times 1 car in the class running against lower classes wow should be fun back in the day so to speak they had 2 maybe 3 classes with plenty of cars and crowd

I agree with f40 to a point. Yes, there are too many classes diluting the driver pool IMO, but as the smaller tracks struggle with the bigger and more expensive cars and the purses they demand, this may be a way for them to stay afloat. And eventually for the sport to survive there will need to be a downsizing. Since open wheel and stock car crowds rarely crossover to enjoy the other disciplines, maybe a program of mod lites, micros, and midgets would be a good "starter kit" for the smaller tracks to embrace.

My god ! We already have Micros and now they want more of the same . Why don't they just make Belleville a go cart track and be done with it .

Hey richiefor20 some of us would like to see race cars with a motor cycle motor look what 3 abreast said

Would you rather them just say the hell with it and close the place? No one ever said they were getting rid of the late models and A mods. They are trying to do something to keep the track afloat. I know I wouldn't want to promote the place and have to listen to everybody on here whine and bitch about everything I do to keep the track open so you have a place to watch racing every Friday!

I say KUDO'S to a race track trying to do something different. I hope it works out for them. It don't matter what any track does some of you must lead a very shitty life to live on the computer to just complain about shit you have no control over. If you do not like the way a track is ran maybe you should step up and run the place yourself or even go to the track and offer to help. hmmmmmm ever thought about doing that? I am very greatful to live in an area that has some of the best racing (drivers and fans) in the country but my God people get on here and just bitch every time a track wants to try something new and bitch when the do the same thing. Some of you are just never happy are you. ( I know who will be the first to respond to this I bet)

Have the classes been announced for Belle Clair - No. "Hearing" is like a rumor!! Wait until the classes are running is announced from a good source and then evaluate. No complaining until some more firm information is available.

Mr Pugh thats the best post on this thread the sportsman do not ru n at bviile on a regular basis
