dang mr. harris bange doff the wall saturday night big time hard. is the guy alright?? plus it's crazy watching him drive with one hand on the wheel and the other hanging onto the top part of his roll cage. i started laughing cause he just gets around that track with ease.

Yes, he did bang off the wall really hard, And he is alright.........Was alittle sore for a few days, and the car wasn't that bad either............... When he drives like that it means he's comfortable and the car is working......................
 
oooh....hey one thing to look at wednesday night if ya go to the latemodel/sprint car race. is watch ed dixon in the corners he does the same thing.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have an aerial or wide angle lens photo to post as an attachment that could show the size of this track, because from some of the posts on this thread, one might think that it's inside a high school gymnasium, lol.
 
Bp ,You are partially right , the track goes thru the gym,down the science wing,out the east doors around the parking lot ,and enters back thru the GIRLS locker room. No seriously ,last Friday nite Brent Thompson and Billy Smith proved that the track is able to pass on. It is alittle tight but it will make the driver have to put both elbows up and drive with alot of commonscence and respect the other driver.With the caliber of Modified drivers that we are blessed to watch in our region, this should be one heck of a show.Best of LUCK to everyone Friday nite @ DRR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think their are pictures of the track on Doe Run Raceway's website. The"Hustler"

thanks for agreeing with me jaashemi, i still think it's too small. they may prove me wrong but i doubt it. like i said the corners arent long enough, they'll come out of the corners and hit the wall. ah well....i may be wrong who knows...but i dont think you'll see a whole field of them there. i figure alot will go to malden. or somewhere else. a know of about 4 that wont be at doe run.
