Modified updates night 2 route 45

Decent racing but it was filled with cautions all night,,55 minutes to run a mod feature,,but that isn't all the racers fault,,wreckers are slow and took a lot of time to line up cars,,50 minute intermission??

Decent racing really??? Maybe you should go ask the A mod drivers what they thought... Jacob Poel was gonna race Friday night at Flora and then head back home and stop at Fairbury on the way home, but the track was so racey he stayed Saturday night also
And he was a 7 place car both nights.... Ask Lucas Lee what he thought the track was like both days... Loved it... Ask Devin Gilpin what he thought... Never been on track and drives around like he had been there every week... He loved it... Exact words of his is this place is awesome..Nick & Dean Hoffman loved it...They got around the track very well both nights.. Both started in the middle of the field and worked there way to the front to finish 2 & 3 Friday night... Check the passing that happened... Look at the starting spots and then look at the finishes... I will give it to you on taking a while... Tow trucks were slow, but that's not the fault of the promoter or anyone of the track.. Half the B mod drivers overdrive and that's what takes so long in that class... Never seen so many drivers shown the exit because they spun out by themselves twice.... There's enough negativity in the dirt track racing world... You're like a few others never have anything good to say about anywhere... Just constantly throwing negative stuff out there... How about a positive for the track... They could've sent 7 A mod drivers home for not making the 24 car field Saturday night, but he felt the right thing to do was put them all in the feature.. That's $1500 more that he put toward the purse that he didn't have to do, but all you wanna do is talk about the negative... That's typical of you though as I don't ever recall you have anything good to say about anything.. Typical!!

yes you had a great show but comparing it to fairbury please a mod s were the support class

BIG SWIGG you know nothing about me,,,,I could have said it wasn't worth the $18,,but I didn't I said it was decent,,,not great,,but decent,,,,I will give the track credit when I see it,,but don't count on it anytime soon,,,I only visit that place one or times a year..I go other places and I don't give them bad credit either,,just tell it like it is. If you want to see good races,,you should of been to Charleston last week and seen the A Mod features,,now that was worth bragging about.. Anything good to say about any thing? How about the Class act the track did for the Lewis family? Great thing there,,how about the donation for Floyd Bolyard family..great thing there..How about a 2 day b mod show at Brownstown paying $5000 to win,,great thing there...how about Brownstown and Charleston not racing this weekend for the Lewis Memorial show,,,great thing there,,get the drift yet? How about the official motioning a lapped hornet to pull off the track right in front of leaders? Great thing there also huh?

I have to say this,,this was by far the best mod feature I have seen at Flora

If you say the racing was decent, you may have been sleeping! That race had some of the best racing i've seen i a long time! The quality of cars would rival any race! Great mod show period!

Trust me on this I will take the guys that was out on the track word anytime.. They're the ones out there racing... You're sitting in the stands and you sit behind your keyboard and act like you know everything... I've read your post before.. I will take hoffman's, Lee, Gilpin and all the other guys word on the track over yours... Maybe you have a reason to dislike this track I have no clue... The racing was good all weekend long... 3 wide racing all weekend with pictures to prove it.. Maybe the show could've moved along faster, but to give them credit they have never put on a show like this.. They went out on a limb to offer big $$$ to these classes and offer the fans something different then they usually see... I'm sure this was not a huge money maker for the race track as they had a purse of over $34,000 for the mods in 2 nights... I applaud there efforts and thank them very much for offering this race to everyone... Dirt track racing is struggling because of people like you... When it's gone you can sit in your home and Wish you had a track to go to and bash... Maybe you oughta read the article about the dying of dirt track racing... When reading it I believe they're talking about people like you..

Just for your info,,,I just read some of your past posts,,nothing like calling the kettle black..I am done with you.
Some of us grow up overtime.. I agree I've been a basher before... Trying to grow up and realize that these tracks aren't making a killing off of anyone other than Fairbury... You can ask any racer... I've help promote about every track in this area with sending info to big specials that tracks are having.. Whether I like the track or not I will help promote it...

I'm normally quiet on here but I couldn't help but notice big swigg saying all that ALCOHOL does is sit in the stands and hide behind his keyboard. Big Swigg, I know for a fact that ALCOHOL turned wrenches on one of the modifieds that dominated flora for a long time. Im assuming that's what he was insinuating when he said "you know nothing about me". Not just your average fan in the stands there.

Once again another post on a forum that was trying to be positive about dirt track racing and railroaded by someone that wasn't even taking part in it other then watching... That's my point on why dirt track racing is suffering and people shy away from the sport because of all the negativity... Dirt tracks aren't getting there doors knocked down from sponsors and this is one of the reasons why...

if you knew who he was youd know why he wasn't there. Big swigg I feel like your about 16 and trying to make a difference but youre really coming off the wrong way. im not real sure exactly how you took what I said as negative but whatever. Your mouth is gunna dig a bigger hole than you can crawl out of at the rate youre going

And here we are. Ive watched you on here a lot. You've always tried to help, support, and promote flora which is great. I'm not sure if you're a member or the track or why you do it and it doesn't really matter its great that you do it. You're downfall, you are quick to jump into confrontation on here. Like I said and here we are, you're aggravating me. And I'm sure i'm under your skin as well. Now, what would really be hurting the track. A fan that said the racing was decent (which in no way shape or form is degrading in my eyes), or the guy that has been promoting the track on here and everywhere else arguing at the very first opportunity he gets. I agree this bickering really helps nothing. At the same time, though, you shouldn't be so quick to point your finger cause you're not exactly helping the cause either. And this my racing friends is why I stay quiet on here. Have a good one swigg. Wasn't my intentions to stoke the fire. It's easy to come off the wrong way on here.

So know we are going to insult one another by saying we are acting 16?? I'm a long way from 16... If you notice I help promote all big mod races at any track... He was not on the track and I will take the word of some of the best mod drivers around over his word is what I'm saying. He has a beef with this track and the old promoters... That's the problem.... QUOTE="RacingFreak7r, post: 879268, member: 7129"]if you knew who he was youd know why he wasn't there. Refer to my last statement before you get your panties in a bunch. Still feel like youre trying to pursue a fight here which would go right along with what you said earlier about fans killing the sport. Not really sure what your after here. As I said before wasn't trying to stoke the fire then you pushed some of my buttons, I pushed some back. You surely see how that works.

What you're saying then is Alcohol is right and the actual racers that raced are wrong?? Simple question... I'm going by what they racers said and posting on here... Guys that have never been on this track was very impressed with the weekend... It has nothing to do with the past and why Alcohol has a problem with this track... I have no clue as to why he don't like the track... Maybe he has a very good reason... It just has nothing to do with the weekend of good racing though.. Like I said I was reporting what drivers said in the pits after Saturday was over... If the racers liked it they must of done something right Becuse usually the racers will tell you if the track sucked... It's nothing personal with Alcohol.. He may have a very good reason to be upset with the former track promoters.. Like he said in his post he don't see himself giving them a compliment anytime soon.. That tells me he has a problem within the track....

I don't know who you are or your association with the track but I have seen you on here promoting this race (on here and 4m.net) a lot so I'm guessing you aren't just a fan... maybe an employee? Well if that's the case then you appear to be representing the track, correct me if I'm wrong... If I am not wrong then I don't think I would be getting on here and arguing with fans who chose to come support the event, whether you agree with their OPINION or not. It's an opinion, I'm sure there are fans who agree as well as disagree with Alcohol... Not starting anything, just don't think its a good idea to get on here and argue with fans if you have ties to the track, it doesn't look good.
