NEW FLORENCE, MO (June 4th) - With 2 make up features and a regular racing program to be completed Montgomery County Speedway was set for one of the best nights of racing for the season.

The night started with 2 make up features, one for the B-Modifieds and one for the Pepsi Super Street division.

Brian Kinnaird won the 25 lap Drivers Seat 25 make up feature in the B-Modified division, picking up $700 and the 5 = foot Drivers Seat 25 trophy.

Brian was able to hold off a late race challenge by Lance Cox to pick up the win. Chasing Brian to the line was Lance Cox, Jerry Dean, Ken Rumble, and Mike Vanderiet, Jr.

Darren Holland is one of the most snake bit drivers at Montgomery County Speedway. Darren has been plagued by mechanical problems for the better part of this season. On this night Darren was able to put those problems aside.

Darren Holland lead the Pepsi Super Street 25 lap make up feature from start to finish. Darren held off Jeff LaBaube, Daryl Dodge, Kenny Harris and Dan Kaminski for the win. The 25 lap feature paid $400 to Darren for the victory.

After the feature was over at a post race inspection, Darren discovered that his engine temperature soared to 250 degrees. This would sideline the hard luck driver for the rest of the evening.

In the Budweiser UMP Late model division, Bryan Collins would triple crown, Bryan won his heat, dash and the 25 lap feature event. Bryan jumped out to an early lead in the race and never looked back.

Following Bryan to the line was Todd Rehg, Keith Pratt, Ron McQuerry, and Trace Westling.

In the Miller UMP A-Modified division, Timmy Hill would have a break out night, winning both his heat race and the 20 lap feature event. Timmy took the lead early by running the middle groove to work his way around race leader Gary Archambauld and held off a very persistent Leroy Haney to pick up the victory.

Chasing Timmy to the line was Leroy Haney, Brian Diveley, Casey Pearson, and Steve Long, Jr.

Action in the B-Modified division saw Mike Vanderiet, Jr. winning his first career feature event. Mike Vanderiet, Jr. has been racing at Montgomery County Speedway for the last 3 seasons and has been very close to winning features before but always came up just shy of victory.

All that changed tonight as Mike Vanderiet, Jr., started on the pole position of the race and took an early lead over Lance Cox, and Tim Barrett in route to his first feature win of his career.

Chasing Mike to the line was Lance Cox, Tim Barrett, Craig Roden and Dam Bimson.

In the Pepsi Super Street division Ron Imm, Jr., jumped out to an early lead over Kenny Harris until he was entered lap traffic. Kenny Harris took the high line and went on to pick up his 97th career feature victory.

Chasing Kenny to the line was Ron Imm, Jr., Jeff LaBaube, Buddy Lowry, and Kevin Owens.

In the RAMS Mini Stock division there was a very hotly contested race between Wes Kintz and Dave Wofford, Jr., the battled lap after lap until lap 12 when Wes Kintz's engine exploded in a big fireball. Once racing resumed Dave Wofford, Jr. cruised to his sixth feature win of the season at Montgomery County Speedway.

Following Dave to the line was Bill Nickelson, Pat Brewer, C.J. Wright, and Rob Denny.

Racing resumes at Montgomery County Speedway on June 11th.
