Nope as I have stated in previous post I speak for nobody at the track. Asked an offical I know from the track and its just not closed that he or I am aware... just no more late models sorry thats all I know..
 
It just seems that the track would put out something official on here or their website. Only thing "official" we have seen is that Casey didn't call anyone. Are they trying to hide the fact? and hope people will still show up. All they have to do is ask Mel how well the the track did after he dropped the late models. I guess they were expecting a heck of alot more cars than are showing up.
 
Seems like there's more going on here than them just deciding to drop the late models. Something doesn't seem quite right.
 
well iam sure they didnt plan on 20 or more lates showing up the should have ran the crate lates as a stand alone class would have drawn a great number of cars
 
maybe they should have held off on reconfiguring a perfectly good track and then they would still have that money in their pockets. now it sounds like they bit off more than they can chew. the old "build it and they will come" theory wont work this day and age. as long as you paid the purse, the racers would have raced in a cow pasture. had my doubts after all that work started but seems like that only time will tell. they will be lucky to get half the cars this week, as well as half the crowd that already was slimming by the week. add the fact that not one person involved with this track will come on here and set the record straight is enough for most people to move on to different track.
 
Pretty disappointing. Especially for the drivers who gave up points racing at another track to support MMP. Glad we didn't buy a parking spot!
 
You would think someone from MMP would come on here and let the fans and drivers know what is going on. I know Casey doesnt have the power to do anything but you would think Randy would get a account and let everyone know what he has in mind. Its seems like it going to be run like it was before. If thats the case the track wont last long. Cutting the purse will only run drivers off like it did before. Also why hasnt the website been updated??
