Mopar, Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises Announce 2005 Plans

Center Line, Mich. - Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises will retain Jay Drake and Josh Wise as its primary Team Mopar drivers for the 2005 USAC National racing season.

Drake, the 2004 USAC National Sprint Car Series Champion, will take over the reigns of the No. 21 machine to defend his title. The USAC National Silver Crown Series will see Drake campaign the Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises No. 22 car. This season marks the first in which Drake will compete in both series for the same team.

Wise, the 2004 USAC National Sprint Car Series Co-Rookie of the Year, will pilot the No. 20 entry in the series for Team Mopar. The 21-year-old hotshoe will also continue his tenure with the No. 20 USAC National Midget Car Series team, and he will compete in the USAC National Silver Crown Series in the No. 10 vehicle. Wise will compete for Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises in all three USAC divisions.

The Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises teams will continue to utilize Mopar power from engine builder Gary Stanton. More announcements regarding the team will be made in the coming months.
