Wilke-PAK Motorsports Leads USAC National Midget Series Entrant Points
to Terre Haute

Center Line, Mich. - In a sport known for its short, fast-paced racing
events, Mopar's Davey Ray is banking on running a slow, strategic race
this Friday, May 21, in the 53rd annual Clabber Girl Hut Hundred. The
Wilke-PAK Motorsports hotshoe will defend his team's lead in USAC
National Midget Series entrant points, and he's banking on their past
success in the event to help him reach Victory Lane.

"I am ready to go to Terre Haute for the Hut Hundred," Ray said. "I
really like the long races and will be in top form and condition to
fight for the win. Being part of a team that has won this race gives me
the confidence to be a contender for the win."

Ray is known for his patience and meticulous calculation during long
races such as the Hut Hundred, and he'll approach the 100-lap event with
his eye on the long haul. Having competed at several half-mile
racetracks with Mopar power under the hood, Ray believes that his Gary
Stanton-built Mopar engine will put the No. 11 at the front near the end
of the event.

"I have run several half-mile dirt tracks with Mopar power, including
Terre Haute," Ray said. "The engines perform well on the bigger
half-mile tracks. I believe the trick will be to pay attention to and
predict how the race and track conditions play out."

The Hut Hundred is one of the most sought after titles in all of midget
car racing. The importance of the event, as well as the IndyCar audience
it will attract, is not lost on Ray.

"The recognition you earn by winning this historic event is tremendous,"
Ray said. "A win in the Hut Hundred has significant meaning and may
spark the attention of some onlookers from IndyCar racing. Earning a win
for Wilke-PAK and Mopar would be an outstanding way to make a lasting
impression."
